It Began At My Sewing Table
It all began with one small sewing project. I sat down to make something simple, and I fell in love with the whole process, the fabric, the color, and the quiet focus of working with my hands. One project turned into another, and before long I was making quilts, rope bowls, and all kinds of pieces. What started as something I loved became Stitches by Karin.
One Piece At A Time
Every piece I make is made by hand, one at a time, in my home studio. I coil each rope bowl by hand and quilt my larger pieces on my longarm machine. I never rush and I never mass produce, because I only make things I would want to own myself. That is what made with love means to me.
